In conjunction with the article about the Antichrist, this article will cover the False Prophet. He is mentioned alongside the Antichrist in Revelation 13, as they often go hand-in-hand. The False Prophet does a lot of the heavy lifting for the Antichrist, which often gets overlooked. I believe that he will be a big reason that Christians fall for the Antichrist deception, and I’ll go into more detail later in the article.

Who Is The False Prophet

The False Prophet is the main helper of the Antichrist. Just as Satan mimics God the Father, and the Antichrist mimics Jesus, the False Prophet mimics the Holy Spirit. He does miracles through demonic power and will lead the world into worshiping the beast. Furthermore, the Bible credits the False Prophet with choreographing the mark of the beast and the image of the beast. In some ways, the False Prophet is a counterfeit John the Baptist who will point people to the Antichrist.

Moreover, I believe that the False Prophet is a Christian religious leader. The basis for the belief that the False Prophet is a Christian comes from Revelation 13:11:

“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.” (Revelation 13:11 NKJV)

The False Prophet has the appearance of a lamb, and we know that Jesus is represented by a lamb. However, he speaks like a dragon, and we know that Satan is the dragon (Revelation 20:2). The False Prophet will appear like Jesus, but speak like Satan. He will be a Christian leader, but will spew blasphemy and deception. If I am correct, the Antichrist will be the figure who brings Muslims and Zionist Jews into the deception, while the False Prophet will bring Christians into it.

Furthermore, it is not far-fetched to assert that the False Prophet could have churches distributing the mark of the beast. If you think this is crazy, please remember that many churches shut down during COVID-19 and were hubs for distributing the vaccines. In the same way that churches encouraged people to get vaccinated, they will encourage people to take the mark of the beast (except it obviously won’t be marketed that way). COVID-19 was the test run, so it’s not the end of the world if you got the vaccine, but the mark of the beast will be the real thing.

What Is The Identity Of The False Prophet

Similar to the Antichrist, I have two theories surrounding the identity of the False Prophet. While I am confident in my theory, I recognize that I could be wrong; time will soon tell. And before I start, I want to remind you that these are just theories, and that the identity of the False Prophet is not very important in the grand scheme of things. He will be judged and destroyed by Jesus, so it is more important that you are preparing for Jesus’ kingdom to come.

Theory 1 – The Pope is the False Prophet

The pope is my top pick for the False Prophet. He considers himself the “vicar of Christ”, but is doing a lot of work for the kingdom of Satan. Namely, he is unashamedly working to unite every religion. These interfaith prayer services and meetings are not a coincidence, as the framework is being laid for a combining of religions. He is also very friendly with Protestant Christian leaders, as the pope and megachurch pastors are on the same page. I would not be surprised if prominent Protestant pastors promoted unity with the pope.

Furthermore, it will soon be claimed that everyone worships the same god (lowercase g for a reason), and the Antichrist will be seen as the universal messiah figure. Can you imagine how much power and influence the pope would have if he called down fire from heaven (Revelation 13:13), or baptized “aliens” (which he claimed he would do)? The deception would be strong and many would fall for it. The pope has more than enough influence to step onto the scene and play the role of the False Prophet.

Theory 2: Yuval Noah Harari is the False Prophet

While the pope is my pick to be the False Prophet, I would not be surprised if it was Yuval Noah Harari. He is a Zionist Jew who supports a two-state solution, and he is huge into AI and transhumanism. I believe that the mark of the beast will deal heavily in that field, so he could be the False Prophet and implement it. Although he is an atheist, he would be a powerful voice because of his heritage.

If he isn’t the False Prophet, he could still definitely play a John the Baptist role in preparing the way for the Antichrist.
