Many Christians have read the book of Revelation, and believe in the Rapture and Second Coming, but don’t truly understand what the Bible is referring to when it mentions the Day of The LORD (YHWH) (YHWH). This day is more than just the Second Coming of Jesus (Yahusha), as there are a lot of prophetic events that will be fulfilled on this day. This article will unpack the biblical references adjacent to this topic, then give a general walkthrough of the events of the “great and dreadful” (Malachi 4:5) day of The LORD (YHWH).

What Is The Day of the LORD (YHWH)

The Day of the LORD (YHWH) is the day when Adonai YHWH will pour out His wrath on the earth. He has been very patient with us, but the day is coming when the cup of His wrath will finally be poured out. The earth will likely be destroyed by fire, and after the Millennial Reign of Messiah, we will get a new heaven and a new earth. Alongside the Antichrist being dealt with, which most people are familiar with, judgment is coming to Edom for how they treated Israel (Yashar’El). Edom will be judged, while Israel (Yashar’El) will be restored and blessed. When Israel (Yashar’El) is restored, and Jesus (Yahusha) rules as King over them, they will rule over those who oppressed and mistreated them. Adonai YHWH has not forgotten or forsaken His people, and He has seen and knows their plight. In the near future, I will talk about the identity of Biblical Israel (Yashar’El), but for now, please read the curses of Deuteronomy 28. They only apply to one group of people today!

So stay on guard and be ready, as this day will truly come like a thief in the night. (1 Thessalonians 5:2)
